There’s always something going on in Asheville. As Spring begins, the city buzzes with activities, and the festival scene takes off. Quinn Anderson Real Estate Solutions is here to share some of the events around town in March.

Biltmore Blooms at Biltmore Estate

Experience over 75,000 perennials come to life between March 25—May 23, 2024, at the largest home in North Carolina, the Biltmore Estate. This is a celebration of flowers and the great landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, who created the gardens at the estate. Witness 75,000+ flowers bloom across the ground’s luxurious gardens, visit the greenhouse to see green treasures, and tour the house to view gorgeous floral arrangements.

Asheville Fringe Festival

The Asheville Fringe Festival is an annual event showcasing some of Asheville’s best and brightest performers. Located in 12 different venues across the city, the festival runs from March 17—25, 2024. Be dazzled by artists, singers, dancers, and more! Passes are available for purchase, or you can pick and choose which performance to attend. The festival is sponsored by local businesses from the area and is supported by ArtsAVL, Buncombe City Government, and the North Carolina Arts Carolina.

2024 Ingles Southern Conference Basketball Championships

Asheville typically focuses on the arts, but that’s not to say we don’t cheer for some of our state teams! The NCAA’s best will kick off March Madness at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center Asheville from March 7—11, 2024. The event will include games featuring men’s and women’s teams from the Southern Conference coming from Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina. Tickets for the event can be purchased via the Harrah’s Cherokee Center Asheville’s website.

Asheville's music and festival scenes take off with the start of Spring!
